Located about 13 km north of the city center, this modern and well-equipped airport offers flights to several domestic and international destinations.
It connects the city of Chihuahua, the heart of the North, with the rest of Mexico and the world.

A bit of history…
General Roberto Fierro Villalobos, born in Guerrero, Chihuahua in 1897, was an outstanding pilot in the Mexican Air Force during the conflicts of the 1920s.
He participated in numerous combats, promoted civil and military aviation in Mexico, and set distance and speed flight records.
His contribution to Mexican aviation is so significant that the Chihuahua International Airport is named after him.
Fierro was a true pioneer in aviation, setting multiple records and accomplishing impressive feats.
In 1928, he made a non-stop flight from Mexicali, B.C. to Mexico City, covering 2,330 kilometers.
He also flew from New York to Mexico on a 13,620 km non-stop flight in 1930, setting a world record.
Throughout his life, Fierro held several important roles, including Head of the Military School of Aeronautic Application and Head of the Civil Aeronautics Department.
A passionate advocate of aviation in Mexico, his legacy lives on in the Mexican aviation industry and in the heart of the North, Chihuahua.

The Bowí is an efficient and modern transportation system that runs through the city of Chihuahua from north to south along its main route, with a total length of 17.4 kilometers (south to north) and a total of 42 stations strategically located along its route.
Characteristics of the Bowí system:
- Electronic fare collection: To use the Bowí, a rechargeable transportation card is required. The card costs $30 pesos and each trip has a value of $7 pesos. You can obtain and recharge your card at vending machines available at the stations.
- Map of the stations: The Bowí card includes a handy map with the location of all stations along the route.
Discounts and preferential cards:
The Bowí system offers special discounts to various user groups, such as:
